The Amazing Escape Pvt Ltd (“The Amazing Escape / Company / Organization / We / Our / Us”) acknowledges and respects the importance of protecting your (“Users”) privacy as well as the information provided to us.

This Privacy Policy document (“Policy”) describes how we handle information that is personally identifiable (“Information”) that we collect on www.theamazingescape.in (“Website”) and other online and offline sources.

This Policy applies to current and former users/visitors/prospects (“Users”) who were/are in touch with us through visit(s) to our Website, Social Media accounts, office, escape room or any other mode of communication, online or offline.

By visiting and/or using our Website, Users agree to this Policy. Any usage or sharing of Information will only be as per the Policy in effect.

We may edit/modify/rewrite this Policy from time to time by updating this page. Users are requested to visit this page regularly so that they are always aware of the present status of the Policy and the Information sought for usage and sharing.

Any significant deviation from the stated use of the Users Information will be notified to the Users and they will have a choice on whether or not to allow usage of the Information.

WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED

We may collect the following Information:

  • Users preferences to allows us to determine what we can and cannot do with the Information
  • Users’ billing name, billing address, and payment method. We will under no circumstances collect credit-card/debit-card/bank-account number or expiry date or other details pertaining to Users payment details on our website. This information will be obtained and processed by our online payment partner(s) only.
  • Post by Users in a public space on our Website or on a social media page belonging to The Amazing Escape and/or S&P Hospitality.
  • Other information: We may collect information about Users’ IP address and the browser being used. We might look at what site Users came from, duration of time spent on our website, pages accessed, etc. We might also collect the type of device used, version of the operating system device is running, etc.

We may choose to collect only part of the above Information at any given point but reserve the right to extend it to some or all of the above, without any prior intimation.

HOW IS THE INFORMATION COLLECTED?

The Information is collected in different ways

  • Directly from Users: when we are contacted in any way whatsoever, whether online or offline, formally or informally. Also, when any comment is posted on our Website or Social Media or question asked, through phone or email.

  • From third parties: for example, an integrated social media feature on our Website will allow us to access Information from third-party social media websites.

 DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES

We will share this Information when required to fulfil a service obligation, or for the purpose of communicating with User, as per above point, within our organization.

We may also choose to share this User Information with our legal partners, investors, subsidiaries, consultants, vendors, etc. on a case-to-case basis, without prior approval from Users, in order to fulfil the terms of our services and to discharge our obligations to the Users. All those who receive the Information will be subject to this Policy.

We will not disclose Users Information to any other third parties unless required to disclose it in order to comply with any applicable government or corporate law, a summons, a search warrant, a subpoena, a court order or regulatory order, other statutory requirement or in order to protect ourselves. We may also share it if a government agency or official investigatory body requests for the same. Or, we might also share information with relevant authorities in case of fraud investigation.

Users Information is held on secure servers. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any Information that Users transmit to us via the internet since no such data transmission can be 100% secure. We, of course, take all reasonable steps (including technological and systemic procedures) to protect Users Information.

We reserve the right to transfer all Information to a third party in the event of a sale, merger, take-over, acquisition, liquidation, receivership or transfer of all or a majority of the assets of our company, provided that the third party to agrees to accept and follow the terms of this Policy and provided that the third party only uses User Information for the purposes that Users provided it to us for. Users will be notified in such an event and will be provided with an opportunity to opt-out.

Users can opt out of receiving our marketing emails. To stop receiving our promotional emails, please email andheri@theamazingescape.in. It may take about 7 working days for us to process the request. We will still continue to send transactional messages through email and messaging.

 THIRD PARTY SITES

When Users click on links to third party websites, they may be taken to websites that we can have no control over. This Policy does not apply to these websites and it is thus recommended that Users read their privacy policy carefully before accessing them. We are not responsible for any of these third-party sites.
